Vancouver’s outstanding new airport is served by most of the world’s major airlines, with non-stop and direct scheduled and charter flights from many United States, European and Asian points of origin.

Outside rush hour, central Vancouver is a 30-minute or less drive, bus or cab ride away from either of the two passenger terminals, which are also well-served by an inexpensive and efficient transit bus service.
The city’s world-class seaport is home to two cruise ship terminals in the downtown area at Canada Place, with a third under construction. A transportation hub in every sense of the word, Vancouver’s Coal Harbour is also home base for scheduled floatplane and helicopter service to Vancouver Island and many other parts of British Columbia.
Vancouver is also well-served by InterState and connecting freeways from the United States and Eastern Canada, as well as by scheduled and seasonal rail services to and from the United States, Canada’s Rocky Mountains, Eastern Canada and Northern B.C.
